1. About Us
These terms govern the provision of building surveying services by Hashe LTD (Company Number: 13384619), a building surveying consultancy registered in England and Wales.

2. Scope of Services
We provide building surveying consultancy services including, but not limited to, building surveys, party wall surveys, dilapidation surveys, defect analysis, project monitoring, and schedules of condition. The specific scope of each instruction will be agreed in writing before work commences.
3. Instructions and Engagement
A contract between you and Hashe LTD is formed when we confirm acceptance of your instruction in writing. Our services will be carried out in accordance with:
- The agreed scope of work and any terms of engagement issued.
- Applicable RICS professional standards and guidance notes.
- The law of England and Wales.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees will be quoted and agreed prior to the commencement of work. Unless otherwise agreed, fees are due on delivery of the survey report or completion of the instructed service. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
5. Reports and Deliverables
Survey reports and other deliverables are prepared for the exclusive use of the instructing client and should not be relied upon by third parties without our prior written consent. Reports are based on conditions observed at the time of inspection and information made available to us.
6. Limitations of Liability
Our surveys are visual inspections conducted in accordance with industry standards. We do not:
- Move furniture, lift floor coverings, or undertake destructive testing unless specifically agreed.
- Provide specialist reports on matters outside the scope of building surveying (e.g., asbestos surveys, electrical testing).
- Guarantee the detection of concealed defects that are not reasonably discoverable during a visual inspection.
Our total liability is limited to the fee charged for the relevant instruction, except in cases of fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence.
7. Professional Indemnity Insurance
We maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to the nature and scale of our work. Details of our current cover are available upon request.
8. Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an instruction, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If we have already commenced work, we reserve the right to charge for work undertaken up to the point of cancellation. Consumer clients have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
9. Complaints

10. Intellectual Property
Copyright in all reports, drawings, and documents produced by us remains with Hashe LTD. You are granted a licence to use these materials for the purpose for which they were prepared. Reproduction or distribution to third parties requires our written permission.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
